Radical Rest: Breath and Nidra with Faye

To take rest can be a radical act when we live under pressure to be productive and on the go.

Many of us haven’t been taught to value rest, nor how to do it effectively. And sometimes it can feel there simply isn’t time for it.

Because of this and the abundant stimulation of our modern world, we live in activated states more than is optimal for our health and wellbeing.

Together, we will explore a variety of breathing practices to soothe our nervous systems and return to balance.

This will be followed by a Yoga Nidra, a deeply restorative practice bringing rest and calm to your whole system.

Similar to meditation, the Nidra practice is guided, practiced seated, or lying down as you slowly drift to a dream-like state between waking and sleeping.

No previous experience of breathwork or Nidra is required, simply the courage to embrace rest - sometimes it’s the most radical thing we can do.
